Regional Payroll Manager, SEA & Oceania

about the job

  • Leading a team of 4 to handle the full cycle of payroll processing for SG, Malaysia and AU; and look over Vietnam, Indonesia, Thailand, Guam & NZ
  • Overlook all legal and compliance matters with regards to payroll
  • Work closely with the Head of Shared Service to streamline and improve payroll processes
  • Coordinate and prepare documentation and reconciliations for internal and external auditors
  • Coordinate with various BU on payroll related documents; sales commission, sales incentive, OTs, travel allowance, etc.
  • Timely approvals and ensure smooth processing of payroll cycles in all 7 countries across all the brands
  • Consolidating and preparing payroll costs, contributions and HR budgets and forecast planning report
  • Liaise closely within the shared service function on staff mobility or exits to ensure timely filing of tax returns
  • Handle all payroll matters and queries from employees on a timely manner

about the manager

Reporting to the Head of Shared Service, you will undertake the role of a Regional Payroll Manager and lead a team of 4.

skills and experience required

You will be Degree or Diploma qualified in HRM or related field of studies and demonstrate at least 3 years of experience preferably in similar capacity. Relevant experience is a definite advantage that would put you in a league above the rest. You should possess the full cycle of payroll processing preferably with Regional exposure. You will be someone with excellent MS office skills (word, excel & PowerPoint), meticulous and good with numbers. Apart from the mentioned, you will also be someone who is well organized with the ability to work well in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
