Our client is a reputable MNC in the service industry with their APAC HQ located in Singapore. They have a global footprint and are one of the market leaders in their sector. They are now looking for a regional payroll specialist to cover maternity for 7 months. The company is located in the west.

about the job
Reporting to the APAC Payroll Manager, you will be managing the payroll activities for assigned APAC countries. Your job scope includes but is not limited to:

  • Working with external payroll vendors and managing payroll process on a timely manner
  • Ensuring processes are compliant according to the country’s policies
  • Advising employees on payroll related enquiries
  • Supporting payroll process improvement projects

skills and experience required

  • Degree in Accounting, Business or HR related field
  • At least 4 years of payroll experience with MNCs in a shared service environment, prior payroll experience with Australia and New Zealand is preferred.
  • Strong Excel skills, prior SAP and Success Factor experience is a plus
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to start work immediately or on short notice
