Our client is a reputable Financial Services MNC, currently recruiting for a Regional Payroll Specialist to join the HR/ Payroll team.

about the job

Reporting to the HR Manager, you will manage end to end payroll processing (900 HCs) across the APAC region in a team of 2. This is an individual contributor role.

Your job scope includes but is not limited to:

• Collating payroll information for all regions including new hires, leavers, salary updates, bonus and commission payouts, statutory contributions, taxes, and working with payroll outsource vendors for accurate processing within the payroll calendar
• Hands-on payroll processing for Singapore and Australia payroll, including reconciliation of Australian annual leave and monthly/ annual pension contribution
• Oversee payroll for 5 countries managed by team members and vendors
• Manage all regional payroll reports
• Participate in payroll projects such as system upgrading and implementation
• Manage payroll queries, any ad-hoc payroll activities

skills and experience required

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Human Resources, Business or relevant studies
• Ideally more than 5 years of regional payroll processing experience, namely for Singapore and Australia
• Good team player, ability to prioritize work and manage time effectively
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to engage with stakeholders
