    about the job

    • Establish and continuously maintain relationships with regional regulators, internal and external stakeholders, and act as the subject matter expert for all risk and compliance-related matters
    • Pro-actively advise and service the regulated business on all compliance matters
    • Design and execute a strong and robust risk and compliance programme across Asia
    • Manage and be responsible for training and developing a team of risk and compliance professionals
    • Perform regular reporting and keep management abreast of all regulatory developments and any material impact to the business
    • Prepare and deliver compliance training to all staff
    • Work with Head Office, industry partners in adopting and driving best practices


    skills and experience required

    • Bachelors Degree in Accountancy, Finance, Risk Management, Economics, Business Management or any related discipline
    • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in risk and compliance from a Financial Institution
    • Familiarity with private client and corporate administration structures
    • Prior regional experience in Asia
    • Strong interpersonal skills and stakeholder engagement, with the ability to work in a cross-jurisdictional environment
