Our client is an established and leading brand who specialises in sales and services of industrial/engineering equipment (Compressor systems, Refrigeration System), supporting multiple diverse industries such as Petrochemical, Pharmaceutical, Oil & Gas and Chemicals etc. This multinational brand is looking for a driven Regional Sales Engineer to join their dynamic team.

about the job
In your role, you will be collaborating closely with the Sales Manager to drive sales / market initiatives to drive revenue growth and direction in ASEAN regions. The key markets covered will include Refinery, Petrochemical/Chemical Plant, Offshore Oil/Gas Facilities. Some of the core duties of the role include:

  • Taking responsibility of ASEAN market (Thailand, India etc.) for sales of Refrigeration System / Gas Compression System
  • Providing technical solutions, pricing and margins aligning with company targets/goals
  • Developing and maintaining long-term relationships with key account customers and developing new businesses
  • Establishing strong communication lines with channels/representatives within the region
  • Preparing quotation for project and compressor enquiries
  • Compiling competitor analysis, market information and insights in order to stay on top of current market trends within specific markets

skills and experience required
To qualify and eventually succeed in this crucial role, you will ideally have an Engineering Degree and:

  • Have at least 3 years of sales experience in rotating and hydraulic equipment (Refrigeration System / Gas Compression System) for the ASEAN regions
  • Strong communication skills and able to work autonomously
  • Outstanding proficiency in B2B market knowledge, and multi channel business
  • Good understanding of technical/industrial marketing landscape
  • Role is mainly focusing on farming accounts with minimal travelling requirements
