Our client is a global chemicals MNC with presence across the regions, specialising in specialty chemicals serving innovation into diversified end markets including lubricants, paints & coatings, pharmaceuticals, automotive, oil & gas etc. Currently, this well-recognised brand is in search of a talented Regional Sales Executive (Lubricants Additives) to join their sales team to assist in broadening their business in the SEA region.

about the job
In your role, you will be reporting to the Sales Manager and be responsible for driving and implementing the sales and strategy of specialty chemicals across the SEA region. Some of the core duties of the role include:

  • Develop and achieve sales and profit targets and handle regional distributors covering SEA region
  • Develop, manage and streamline distributor channels to ensure full market coverage
  • Involve actively in regional project pursuit
  • Achieve year-on-year growth in sales and booking in variety of end use applications such as Oil & Gas and lubricants manufacturers

skills and experience required
To qualify for the role, you should have more than 2 years experience of B2B sales experience preferably in the specialty chemicals industry. You will ideally have:

  • A degree in a Chemical discipline or a related discipline
  • Technical sales experience with application in oil & gas and lubricants manufacturer is an advantage
  • Good sales channel/distributors management experience regionally
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including influencing skills
  • Strong analytical and questioning skills and to be strongly comfortable in both a Business Development role and an Account Management role
  • Comfortable with extensive travelling
