Reporting to the Commercial Director, Consumer Business based in Singapore, you will get to:

The Role

Partner with distributors within Asia and US markets to profitably grow the business. Your role would get to Identify, develop and execute profitable growth strategies, including strategic direction and business development opportunities.

Reporting to the Commercial Director, Consumer, the role will:

  1. Be accountable for the P&L and for defining and implementing the Business Sales Strategy for selected export countries and for identifying and utilizing business opportunities within potential export countries
  2. Maximize the profitability of business by analyzing pricing strategy as well as the efficiency of Advertising & Promotional spend, which includes product & channel mix.
  3. Executes the overall export sales business strategy in terms of growth (sales and category)
  4. Accountable for sales revenue and the P&L within the existing export countries and the identification of export opportunities within countries where the company has no presence.
  5. Manage all import & export legalities, regulatory issues/clearances, labeling requirements with relevant departments within the firm.
  6. Provide up-to-date cost & price information of products, prompt service of export orders and monthly reports of performance and results status/ ad hoc reports on important developments.

The Successful Applicant

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
  • Seasoned individual with min. 5-10 years of experience in a Regional sales & business development role partnering with distributors within the FMCG sector
  • Proven track record on driving efficient specific different distributors (sustainable & profitable business growth)
  • Expected to travel up to 30% - 40%
  • Strong negotiator, numbers driven with strong commercial acumen
