With a strong presence globally providing solutions into critical end markets including Data Centres, Healthcare, Telecommunications and Pharmacueticals amongst others. This leading brand is in search for an experienced Regional Sales Manager to assist with their continued growth across the region

about the job

In your role, you will be reporting to the General Manager based locally and be responsible for driving and implementing the sales and strategy of UPS products for the assigned territories in SEA.

Some of the core duties of the role include:

  • Achieving sales and profit targets and handle both direct and channel sales covering Asia regions
  • Developing new market across the region in designated markets, exploring new avenues for potential revenues and projects
  • Developing, managing and streamlining distributor channels to ensure full market coverage for various end markets such as general Industrial markets
  • Actively pursuing local & overseas projects to ensure a healthy pipeline of business
  • Managing key accounts as well identifying and developing potential accounts regionally


skills and experience required

To qualify for the role, you should have more than 8 years of sales experience in the power generation/UPS related industry. You will ideally have:

  • A degree in an Engineering discipline
  • Solutions selling and ability to sell high value large project/capital equipment
  • Strong Technical sales management / commercial experience in Industrial B2B Markets in Asia
  • Independence in a commercial role, reporting remotely and growing targets within Asia
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including influencing skills
  • Strong analytical and questioning skills and to be strongly comfortable in Business Development
