Our client is an established company, with a strong presence in manufacturing and providing mechanical and flow control products and solutions to a wide range of industries such as oil & gas, petrochemical, refinery, energy mining and industrial systems. This multinational brand is looking for a driven Regional Sales Manager to join their dynamic team.

about the job
In your role, you will be reporting to the Sales & Service Director and be responsible for driving and implementing the sales and strategy of integrated regulating control solutions / instrumentation, specifically valves. Some of the core duties of the role include:

  • Develop and achieve sales and profit targets and handle distributor sales covering Singapore & Indonesia
  • Involve actively in regional project pursuit and handle Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals, Refinery industries
  • Customer management across all channels with an ability to drive sales growth through an effective go-to-market strategy
  • Achieve year-on-year growth in sales and booking in process industry
  • Work closely within the regions to manage key account business, identifying, selecting and developing potential accounts regionally


skills and experience required
To qualify for the role, you should have more than 7 years experience of sales experience in the flow control and process automated system especially in Oil & Gas and/or other process industry. You will ideally have:

  • A degree in an Engineering discipline
  • Technical sales experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals, Refinery industries and/or related process industries
  • Good distributors/channel management experience across the regions
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including influencing skills
  • Strong analytical and questioning skills and to be strongly comfortable in both a Business Development role and an Account Management role
  • Ability to travel extensively of about 50%
