about the job

Leading a team of 2, you will provide a full fledge of retail operational human resources partnership in Southeast Asia to maximize organisational health, capability and operational efficiencies on the ground. You will work closely with key partners in both local and regional platform to understand the business priorities and deliver a full spectrum of HR initiatives to drive people's agenda. You will build commitment, capability, and overall engagement among individuals and teams. You will also partner the APAC HR team in Australia to drive solutions and actions contributing to organisational health and the achievement of business objectives.

You will also participate in key business planning and talent planning sessions to assess talent and develop strategies to address development needs, gaps, and risks with the Senior HRD in APAC. You will play a key role in executing strategies and interventions to ensure overall HR effectiveness within the business.

about the team

You will lead a team of 2 HR executives and report directly to the Senior HR Director of APAC and work closely with the GM in SG.

skills and experience required

You will be Diploma/Degree qualified in HRM or related field of studies and demonstrate at least 10 years of similar experience, with at least 2 years of leadership capacity. Experiences within the retail/F&B/Hospitality verticals will be a mandate for this role. Being able to think out of the box, independent and resourceful is a definite good to have to fit into the culture and the value preposition of the organization. You will be someone who is hands on with strong understanding of retail operations to integrate HR solutions into the business. You will introduce the best practices of HR by partnering the management team and your key stakeholders to achieve maximum operational efficiency on the ground. Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage stakeholders of different levels will be what sets you apart from others.
