about the job

You will report to your regional Sales Manager and be responsible for revenue targets of digital PCR and several other products across South East Asia, via collective sales efforts with Account Managers, distributors, and Field Application Scientists.

  • Develop and implement selling strategies to win greater market share for assigned product portfolio
  • Engage key customers on through presentations, workshops and /or technical discussion to win deals and accelerate revenue growth for the portfolio
  • Serve as the technical and tactical resource to support local sales teams and distributors in complex sales situations
  • Provide leadership to local sales teams in driving consumables sales of the assigned portfolio by active management of our install base, maintaining KOL relationships and establishment of reference labs.
  • Support the product Managers in the planning and implementation of relevant campaigns, promotions and events to drive greater awareness and generate leads

skills and experience required

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Medicine, Biology, or Biomedical Engineering
  • 3 years+ hands-on experience in qPCR and other molecular biology research techniques; practical experience with digital PCR highly preferred but not a must
  • 3 years+ working experience within life science industry in a commercial organisation
  • In-depth technical knowledge on the latest innovative molecular biology techniques
  • Business acumen and strong presentation skills
  • Willingness to travel within South East Asia region for up to 40% of the time

Your prior sales experience would be advantageous, however if you are someone with a strong research background and have the technical expertise with a willingness to venture into a commercial role, this might be your next career.
