Listed in the SGX, our client is a well establish group of business within the consumer vertical. They have a strong presence in the local market as well as in regions within the SEA market and footprints in UK. With steady YOY growth, they are inviting a dynamic seasoned HR professional to join them in their continuous business expansion.

about the job
You will undertake the role of a Regional VP of HR, directing all matters pertaining to implementation of performance management, talent development, Payroll/C&B, budgeting & reporting, recruitment and selection. You will business partner the respective BU to identify business objectives as well as to develop and implement division-wide human resource strategies and initiatives. You will also be leading the HR team in ensuring excellence service delivery on day to day HR related matters. Standing at a total headcount of 5000 workforce in the entire organization, the BU that you will be covering stands at a total of 3000. This role entails also strategic planning for long term HR plans with the opportunity to provide an advisory role on all human capital matters for the region.

about the manager/ team
You will report directly to the CEO and functionally back to the Group Head of HR. Teamwork is of an essence to our client and you will be looking at working with an exceptionally dynamic and cohesive HR team, leading a team of 7 team.

skills and experience required
You will be degree qualified in HRM or related field of studies and demonstrate at least 8 years of experience preferably in similar capacity. You will be someone with excellent business partnering skills set with proven track record in managing both internal and external stakeholders. You will also be someone who is has excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage up and down. Having exceptional resilience working in a fast pacing and ever-changing environment would be something that sets you apart from the rest. Apart from the mentioned, you will also be someone who could roll up your sleeves to assist with operational matters when needed coupled with the desire to grow together with the organization. Due to business requirements in the region, conversant in mandarin will be a mandate for the role.
