about the company

Our client is a leading provider of food technologies in the region that prides high quality, and appealing products for its clients. With a vast range of food safety solution and year-on-year growth they are now seeking for a Regulatory Affairs Executive to champion its APAC business

about the job

  • Prepare documents for regulatory submissions and assist in preparing more complex submissions to gain product registrations mainly in the APAC region
  • Monitor and keep abreast of competitive patent environment and assist in developing strategies to address patent concerns
  • Assist R&D in defining the patent field for new PIP projects.
  • Determine regulatory requirements and interpret relevant government regulations for products and raw material ingredients
  • Manage regulatory compliance for key products and documentation
  • Review and sign-off on Marketing/Sales literature for company products (PTP review)
  • Serve as RA representative on cross functional teams
  • Submit monthly report on activities and updates
  • Assist in managing formulas and other information the CRM system
  • Assist in creating and maintaining product labels, product specification sheets, SDS and RA
  • Stay current on regulatory developments and trends in the industry that could affect product lines.
  • Serve as senior regulatory representative on government agency inspections and certification audits as needed
  • Interact with Regulatory Affairs officials both internally and externally to assure the timely exchange of information

about the manager/team

You will be working in a collaborative team in a full fledged position primarily responsible for supporting regulatory compliance in product formulations, labels, and literature, assisting in product registration efforts, monitoring and influencing regulatory developments, supporting regulatory efforts in new projects and certification/regulatory audits.

skills and experience required

  • At least a bachelor’s degree in chemistry with at least 3 years in regulatory or quality related industry.
  • A good understanding of the chemical and biological sciences, analytical methods and interpretation of data is desired.
  • Good project team leadership skills and ability to persuade and present ideas effectively to different departments are needed.
  • Good project execution skills, including planning and meeting timelines are required.
  • A high degree of personal motivation along with a desire to make an immediate contribution (sense of urgency).
  • Must be customer service-oriented and work well with different personalities inside and outside of the corporation.
