about the job
- Ensure the business complies with all relevant policies and procedures, from a group as well as local perspective
- Advise the business on all relevant policies and procedures (Banking Act, SFA, FAA) as well as new and revised rules and regulations as per MAS
- Identify compliance risks and ensure risks are managed as well as prepare reports to keep senior management abreast of regulatory changes and landscape
- Participate in regional or global initiatives if any
- Conduct regular bank-wide training to all staff to raise promote a compliant culture and keep them informed of new regulations

skills and experience required
- Degree in Accountancy, Banking, Business or Law, or relevant professional qualification in financial services or audit
- Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in regulatory compliance positions within global banking environments
- Sound understanding of the regulatory landscape and relevant laws and regulations (Banking Act, SFA, FAA)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to articulate well and work with senior stakeholders
