about the company

The company is an European-MNC and the largest global strategy firm in their specialisation, and they assist clients in fast, high-impact, confident decision making. They are seeking a Research Analyst to join the global Research and Knowledge Management team. The Research Analyst is responsible for a broad range of research tasks including monitoring the shared mailbox for incoming emails, KPI tracking, assisting to do up PowerPoint slides and data reporting.

about the job

You will engage in end to end management of research requests from consulting staff including intake, output, and metrics measurement. This involves working with a variety of databases (Thomson Reuters/Bloomberg) to provide information and data for client projects and business development. In addition, you will create and maintain internal firm intellectual property, collect, evaluate, index, publish and maintain information using knowledge management tools and resources, as well as collaborate with members of the global Research and Knowledge Management team to promote department best practices among consulting staff. You will also support in ongoing evaluation of information and data needs specific to the APAC region and introduction of new information sources.

about the manager / team

This role is an independent contributor for the Singapore office with career progression for APAC exposure. You will report directly to the Global Head of Research who is based in Munich, and work closely with a team of 10 Consultants in the Singapore office.

skills & requirements for the job

You must be a Degree holder with minimum 2 years of similar research analyst experience in a consulting firm or investment banking. Very solid Excel and PowerPoint skills are crucial. This role is well suited for somebody who enjoys working with high-level colleagues in a consultancy firm but prefers the work-life balance of a research role, or the ideal incumbent could also be a research analyst who wants to gain more exposure now and progress to a consultant role in future.
