Our client is the global leader in manufacturing smart solutions for mobility, technology, home, energy and building industry. As a result of continued successes both within Singapore and internationally, they are looking for a Research Engineer to lead the business in its next phase of growth.

about the job

As the Research Engineer, you will be responsible to:

  • Research and evaluate sensor technologies, identifying risks and providing alternate solutions for both fielded and development systems integration
  • Researching and developing new approaches or processes for sensing applications in consumer electronics and smart construction
  • Designing and prototyping algorithm/signal processing solutions supporting IoT stack
    Data analysis, Modelling system and sub-system behaviour
  • Performing system and sub-system level test, conducting experiments/data collections

skills & experience required

To be successful in this position, you must have the ability to demonstrate or possess:

  • Bachelor or Masters in Mechatronics engineering, Computer Science, Materials Science or Physics
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with designing, integration, prototyping, evaluating, testing and fielding
  • Open to Fresh graduates as training will be provided as well
  • Knowledge in signal processing and algorithm development, sensor modelling
  • Strong technical skills related to magnetic, current, resistive sensor technologies, knowledge in MEMS sensor technologies will be an advantage
