about the job
Reporting to the General Manager, you will manage a team of 4 and support a headcount of 400 employees based in Singapore. In addition, you will be:
- Responsible for HR Operations matters (excluding payroll and store rostering), preparation of monthly reports and generating HR data and statistics
- Managing a team of 4 to drive talent acquisition, learning and development, employee engagement and talent management
- Working closely with the store management team on talent succession planning; ensuring up-to-date succession process and developing frameworks
- Ensure compliance with statutory legislations and Company regulations
- Maintain open communication with employees on HR issues, supporting employees’ wellness / engagement programs
- Partner with business managers / HODs to effectively meet business goals
skills and experience required
- Diploma in Human Resources, Business or equivalent
- 10 years' experience as a HR Generalist; ideally 4 years’ experience in a managerial capacity
- Strong communication skills, ability to communicate with employees across all levels
- Experience within the retail or F&B industry is essential
- Independent and a self-starter; able to work with minimum supervision
- Experienced with local labour law and regulations within the retail industry
- Passionate about the growth and development of people
