Job description

Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager - the Retail Operations Senior Executive for Singapore, will help to drive sales growth by identifying areas for expansion and improvement.

You use methods such as analyzing key metrics; coordinating with marketing, merchandising and operations teams (Sales Promoters) to ensure sales goals are met in a timely fashion.

You create reports based on your analysis of sales data from accounts (Country Retailers & Partners, i.e Courts, Gain City, Harvey Norman, Crate & Barrel, Tangs Takashimaya) in Singapore.

  • Responsible for delivering the financial targets for Singapore in achieving both Top and bottom lines
  • retail sales orders execution
  • retails sales analysis (SOH / sell in / sell thru)
  • retailer day to day activities management
  • manages retailers' AR collection
  • execute / follow up on strategized approval sales activities
  • provide retail market intelligence report
  • promoters' management
  • Negotiate, acquire deals with key retailers and maintain strong relationship with all partners
  • Work closely with the Sales and marketing team about promotional campaigns and close engagement with key partners to grow opportunity within territory and collaborate within key stakeholders to ensure growth attainment
  • Provide ad hoc analyses to understand key accounts/retail partners and competitor performance
  • Monitor demand generation activities to achieve maximum sales results consistent with a sales forecast, ensuring category targets are achieved
  • Ensure successful product launches in liaison with trade partners and internal stakeholders
  • Ability to negotiate plan to sell & merchandising programs with partners (ie. store managers)
  • Analyze business performance, including net sales (sell-in), retail sales (sell out), product/color mix, inventory, demand planning & work with Regional Sales Managers to prepare country level demand forecast planning supported by Supply chain team
  • Train and develop in store promoters to ensure full alignment and achievement of set store financial and delivery of the Group’s experience
  • Develop monthly promotional calendar by retailers
  • Support store operations in achieving monthly sales targets
  • Review efficiency in operations, stock management and sales productivity at the store

Skills required

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, or in a related discipline
  • Relevant 3-5 years experience in a sales retail operations environment in a Beauty / lifestyle / retail / consumer appliances sector
  • Proficient with advanced computer software skills (spreadsheet, presentation software, G-Suite)
