My client is an international law firm with presence in the US, Europe, Middle East and APAC region. With their new growth market to be in the APAC region, they are constantly hearing from their customers so that they can satisfy their customer needs to enhance organic growth. Currently, they need to hire a high calibre Revenue Controller to help drive the billing and collections for the company in Singapore.
about the job
Reporting to the FM, you will have full responsibility for ensuring effectiveness of the firm's billing and collections for the Singapore market. Together with the lawyers, you are responsible for achieving the KPIs for billing and collections. You will be overseeing the AR, WIP, billing and communicating as necessary with the Finance Manager to ensure that balances are managed in accordance with matter arrangements and firm policy. You will be monitoring inventory levels and other related exposure on fixed/capped fee matters. You will also be involved in weekly staff reimbursements, monthly reconciliation, postage charges posting and collating word processing entries.

skills and experience required
You should be strong in both written and spoken English as you will need to liaise with the lawyers and authorities in a professional manner. You should ideally have at least 5 years of experience doing collections in a services company. You are strong in business partnering and stakeholder management.
