about the job
As Sales Coordinator, you will be responsible for developing long-term relationships with customers and supporting them in the timely fulfilment of order requirements. With a focus on customer satisfaction, you will work to deliver a positive customer experience, respond to queries in a timely manner, and grow the business by building successful, long-term relationships.You will be responsible for a range of order management tasks such as part number creation, customer order processing, stock availability analysis, coordination of delivery with 3PL. You will liaise with the warehouse to ensure timely dispatch of orders and maintain customer price updates and price files, process customer declarations and work in a cross functional capacity, collaborating with the sourcing teams in meeting customer requirements and AR department in the follow up of commercial invoices.

This position sits within the Inside Sales Department and reports directly to the Account Manager. You will be working closely with 2 other sales coordinators in the management of customer’s accounts.
skills and experience required
The incumbent should be tertiary educated and come with at least 3 years of working experience in sales administration or order management functions. To succeed in this role, you must be highly organised and possess high levels of administrative capabilities to coordinate multiple stakeholders, drive initiatives and enhance the efficiency of internal business processes. You will have excellent communication and negotiation skills and be customer service oriented. Ultimately, you should be able to support business growth by building successful, long-term relationships with a key focus on delivering high standards of customer service and upselling.Prior knowledge in ERP systems/ AS 400 would be advantageous.
