about the role
Reporting to the Senior Business Manager, the Sales Development Executive will be responsible for driving sales in the local market by sourcing Business Development opportunities, alongside managing existing clients.
- To grow and manage accounts in the Singapore market and be accountable for sales.
- Source for new accounts in the company’s bid to expand its market share.
- Help the company penetrate into new markets that they do not currently have a presence in.
- Recover and reactivate inactive or lost accounts.
- Achieve sales targets and consistently monitor sales performance to develop business opportunities.
- Prepare monthly forecasts and sales reports
- Ensure good working relationships with clients.
skills and experience required
- Min. 1-3 years experience in a key account / Sales / BD function within the FMCG, Food service, HORECA, On Premise channels.
- Comfortable with liaising and pitching to clients.
- Strong communication skills, problem solving skills and analytical skills required.
- Strong in Microsoft Excel, with knowledge on forecasting and quotations
- Big picture orientation with attention to details
