Our client is a b2b management / business consultancy firm that provides growth and expansion consultancy through the provision of growth, lead generation and outbound sales advisory and execution for clients globally.

about the job

As a Sales Development Representative, you will be generating leads and building customer pipelines. Due to the nature of their business model, you would be given the opportunity to build outbound lead generation for multiple industries across B2B tech businesses. The role offers a great opportunity to develop your technical sales skills in cold calling and prospecting aided by the use of technology and sales automation tools. Other responsiblities include:

  • Generating appointments by means of proactive outbound prospecting and lead activity management in an effort to qualify and market our solutions to potential customers.
  • Industry, market and competitor analysis in order to tailor customised go-to-market strategies and the building up of contacts pipeline
  • Use of strong selling and influencing skills to set up qualified appointments.
  • Management and presentation to clients on success of strategies and business development

skills and experience required

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • At least 2 years expereince as a Sales Develoment Representative in a related industry, preferably in the B2B sector
  • Strong experience and keen interest in lead generation, outbound sales, prospecting and cold calling
  • Experience managing B2B outbound campaigns leveraging digital technologies
  • Strong in-person, phone, and written customer communication skills.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, and the ability to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization, particularly at the C-level
  • Strong presentations skills, both formal and informal
  • Strong time management skills with great organisation skills and the ability to prioritize work assignments and shift work efforts based business goals.
  • Strong PC skills required; knowledge of Salesforce.com a plus.
  • Intellectual curiosity and a keen interest in understanding different business models, products and solutions from various industries
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.
