My client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Director to spearhead the growth of their hyperscaler accounts across the region. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales, expanding market share, and developing long-term partnerships with major hyperscaler clients. Reporting directly to the Senior Vice President (SVP) of Sales, the Sales Director will lead and manage a dedicated sales team focused on the regional expansion of the company's services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to drive revenue growth in the hyperscaler market across the region.
- Identify and build relationships with key decision-makers within targeted hyperscaler accounts.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a regional sales team, setting clear goals and expectations to achieve sales targets.
- Collaborate with the SVP of Sales and other senior leaders to align sales strategies with the company’s overall objectives.
- Track and report on sales performance metrics, market trends, and competitor activities.
- Negotiate and close complex sales deals, ensuring customer satisfaction and fostering long-term relationships.
- Work closely with the marketing and product teams to create effective sales campaigns and customized solutions for clients.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to position my client as a leading provider in the hyperscaler space.
skills and experience required
- Proven experience in sales within the data center industry, specifically focusing on enterprise or hyperscaler clients.
- Demonstrated success in managing and growing a sales team, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong understanding of the data center market, including customer needs, market dynamics, and competitive landscape.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and support the sales team.
