    A leading global biotechnology firm specialising in genetic sequencing services is looking for an entry-level sales executive to join their dynamic organisation.

    about the job

    As a sales executive you will:

    • Responsible for revenue targets on a quarter / annual basis for the assigned portfolio and territory
    • Establish and maintain current and new customer relationships and work closely with internal stakeholders to facilitate a positive customer experience
    • Engage key customers on through technical discussion, presentations etc to win deals and accelerate revenue growth for the portfolio
    • Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from marketing activities and expand current customer base in assigned territory to drive revenue growth
    • Support the marketing team in the planning and implementation of relevant campaigns, promotions and events to drive greater awareness and generate leads for our portfolio

    about the manager/team

    You will report to the commercial sales leader and work closely within a team of 4 sales executive to bring revenue for your assigned territory.

    skills and experience required

    Bachelor degree in Biotechnology or related fields. Masters' or PhD in Genetics would be a plus.

    Minimum 1 year of experience working in genomics or related laboratories. Prior sales experience is preferred.

    Prior technical support or project management experience is a plus

    Strong logical thinking and problem-solving skills

    Good interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work under pressure

    Attention to detail and ability to multi-task
