about the role:
- Reporting directly to the COO and CEO of the company, this role is responsible for expanding the brand’s portfolio of corporate clients.
- Identify and target potential clients (including government services) for event catering services.
- Develop and implement strategies to secure new business opportunities within these sectors.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, ensuring the brand is their preferred choice for corporate events.
- Act as the primary point of contact, managing client expectations and ensuring satisfaction.
- Prepare tailored proposals and presentations that effectively communicate the brand’s value proposition to potential clients.
- Work closely with clients and the internal team to ensure the successful execution of events.
- Oversee all aspects of the event catering process, from initial contact to post-event follow-up.
- Track and report on business development activities, including lead generation, client meetings, and contract negotiations.
- Provide regular updates to management on the progress of business development initiatives.
skills and experience required:
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management within the F&B industry, particularly in food catering.
- Strong understanding of the corporate and government sectors, with a track record of securing high-value contracts.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence decision-makers at all levels.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams to deliver exceptional service to clients.
- Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is a bonus.
