about the company
Our client is an established and leading brand who specialises in sales and services of various industrial/engineering products (scientific instruments, automated production equipment for electronics industries, building automation and control products etc.), supporting multiple diverse industries with high quality systems and innovative technologies. In order to support their continual growth, they are currently looking for a Sales Manager (Robotics) to drive their Robotics/Automation solution business sales in the region. The successful candidate will be focused on both direct sales and channel management and will have the opportunity to gain exposure across diverse markets.

about the job
In your role, you will be collaborating closely with the Division Manager to drive sales / market initiatives to drive revenue growth and direction in Singapore. Some of the core duties of the role include:

  • Taking responsibility of Singapore market sales for Robotics/Automation solution to targeted business
  • Providing technical solutions, pricing and margins aligning with company targets/goals
  • Developing and maintaining long-term relationships with key account customers and developing new businesses
  • Establishing strong communication lines with channels/representatives within the region
  • Compiling competitor analysis, market information and insights in order to stay on top of current market trends within specific markets
  • Leading the sales team to achieve overall sales targets

skills and experience required
To qualify and eventually succeed in this crucial role, you will ideally have Engineering Degree and:

  • Have at least 5 years of sales experience in selling Robotics/Automation solution for the Singapore market
  • Have at least 3 years of experience in managing a team
  • Strong communication skills and able to work autonomously
  • Outstanding proficiency in B2B market knowledge, and multi channel business
  • Good understanding of technical/industrial marketing landscape.
  • Developing market strategies for technical products/services
