My client is an exciting tech start-up company that has recently completed their series A fundings and they provide tech software solutions to help improve food distribution systems within SouthEast Asia and bridge the gap between food producers and consumers.
They count some of the largest retailers, catering, hotel chains , restaurants as their client and as part of expansion , they are looking for a driven Assistant Sales Manager with strong industry network to spearhead sales expansion in Singapore.
About the company
Reporting to the Business Development Director, your responsibilities will includes
- To work closely with management in developing and implementing sales strategies and initiatives to maximize revenue and market expansion objectives
- To take a proactive approach in identifying and prospecting new clients within the Food industry - Hotels, Restaurants, Retailers , Catering businesses
- Spearheading sales expansion, introduce new products or services to clients and organize visits to current and potential clients
- Able to have a good understanding of company products and services and tailoring to clients” needs and provide a consultative sales approach to prospects by understanding their needs and concerns
- To stay updated on industry trends and, market conditions and competitors activities and identify new opportunities
- Prepare regular sales reports and present findings to management and identifying areas of improvements and appropriate recommendations action
Skills and experience required
- Min 3 years of relevant industry sales experience with proven track record
- Good understanding and network of industry trends and contact within the local market
- Agile and comfortable to work in an agile and startup environment
