An established German pharmaceutical MNC is seeking a professional and dynamic Field Sales Supervisor whose key role will be driving and developing the Singapore business.
Reporting to the Sales & Marketing Manager (SMM), you will be responsible for leading and guiding the internal sales teams in implementing sales & marketing strategies and customer relationship management, with the aim of achieving overall sales & marketing objectives for the business in Singapore.


Major Tasks:

  • Leading and guiding a team of medical representatives in achieving sales objectives.
  • In charge of a specific sales territory and selected key customers.
  • Exhibit positive attitude and can-do spirit towards team members.
  • Develop sales team through motivation, counselling and product knowledge training e.g. role- plays and clinical paper dissection.
  • Conduct team meetings to encourage team members to share best practices and gather feedback from each team member.
  • Coach and mentor team members during regular field visits to maximize value of sales calls.
  • Answers team member questions, helps with team member problems and oversees team member work to ensure they hit the sales goals.
  • Provides encouragement to team members, including communicating team goals and identifying areas for new training or skill checks.
  • Working closely with the product management team in implementing sales & marketing initiatives and to build strong relationship with key customers/Key Opinion Leaders.
  • Sales management responsibilities such as sales forecasting, budgeting, customer & territorial planning, monitoring and result-tracking are also essential functions for the incumbent.
  • Identify areas and activities for continued product growth and sales target achievement.
  • Provide report on competitors’ activities and market situation to SMM and the sales team.
  • Develops sales strategies to promote team member adherence to company performance goals. Expand and penetrate Singapore markets with new and existing growing products. Refer problems, issues, requirement and results of the team to SMM frequently and propose solutions to these problems and issues.

Requirements:

  • A highly driven individual who is able to inspire and motivate others
  • Self motivated and independent
  • At least 5 years of experience in sales, of which a minimum of 3 years must be in supervisory sales management capacity in the Singapore’s healthcare / pharmaceutical industry
  • Proven track record in sales and team management
  • Good leadership skills with excellent planning and analytical ability
  • Strong customer focus and result-orientation
  • Degree in science discipline would be an advantage
  • Possess Class 3 driving license and own vehicle or keen to rent a vehicle
