Our Client is a market leader within the technology industry. As part of their global expansion efforts, there is now an exciting opportunity for an experienced SAP Project Director to join them.

About the role

Your role involves:

Creating and maintaining a comprehensive project plan delineating the project's scope, schedule, budget, and necessary resources. Roles and responsibilities will be defined, accompanied by the formulation of a communication plan that entails routine status updates and stakeholder engagement. Monitoring progress, identifying risks, and formulating mitigation strategies are essential for keeping the project on course.

Collaborating closely with stakeholders, including the executive team, department managers, IT personnel, and end-users, is crucial for the Project Manager to ensure alignment with the organization's requirements and objectives. Establishing and nurturing relationships with stakeholders, disseminating project updates, and managing expectations are vital components in securing stakeholder satisfaction.

Proactively identifying project risks and formulating contingency plans to address these risks are key responsibilities for the Project Manager. Collaboration with stakeholders is necessary to develop a comprehensive risk management plan covering risk assessment, response strategies, and ongoing monitoring. Escalating issues to the management team is part of this proactive risk management approach.

Managing project resources, including project team members, vendors, and contractors, is a central duty for the Project Manager. Ensuring the appropriate staffing of the project team to meet project objectives is a critical aspect of resource management.

The Project Manager is tasked with ensuring that project tasks are not only completed on schedule but also meet the required quality standards. Establishing quality control processes, conducting regular quality audits, and collaborating with stakeholders to implement corrective actions when necessary are integral to maintaining project quality.

Skills and experience required

As a successful applicant, you will have at least 8+ years of experience as a project manager implementing SAP projects. working in the IT Industry background.

Proven track record in handling SAP S4 HANA is a must have for this role.
