    Our client is an established unicorn company, founded in 2016 and is funded by top investors within the consumer and beauty industry. With ambitious growth plans within the SEA region, they are currently looking for a strategic HR Business Partner / Senior Manager to join their team and support the facilitation of their HR strategy in the region.

    about the job

    As the 1st HR hire in the region, you will be working closely with the CEO and management team to develop and implement effective HR talent acquisition and talent management strategies across the SEA Region. This role will report directly into the CEO and will have an opportunity to build a regional team. In addition, you will:

    • Drive the company’s recruiting and talent acquisition strategies, supporting the hiring of leadership positions in SEA
    • Set up HR structures and policies in line with local country laws and regulations, driving towards best business efficiency and organizational effectiveness across assigned markets
    • Manage employee relations, employee experience, wellbeing and employer branding
    • Support end-to-end HR and business needs; working closely with the CEO, HQ and Leadership Team to drive towards organisation goals and objectives
    • Adopt data-driven methodologies to analyse trends and metrics to develop solutions, programs and policies

    about the manager/team
    This is an excellent career opportunity for growth oriented individuals who are keen to work alongside collaborative and top leaders from renowned global companies such as McKinsey, Boston Consulting Group, L’Oreal, Bytedance and LVMH. The role will work closely alongside the CEO, with a dotted line to the Regional HR Director.

    skills and experience required

    • Min. 5 year’ experience as a HR Business Partner and / or in-house Talent Acquisition
    • Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Human Resources, Economics or equivalent
    • Candidates with in-house talent acquisition experience within fast growing technology or leading global consumer companies, and looking for an opportunity to step within a strategic HRBP position are encouraged to apply
    • Track record as a business partner to senior stakeholders; facilitating business strategy, capability building, manpower strategy planning, talent management and employee relations
    • Good knowledge of local compliance and labor laws across South East Asian countries
    • Reilient with a strong sense of work ethics, accountability and ownership
    • Comfortable with high travelling responsibilities
