about the job
As the Talent and Capability Manager for the region, the role reports directly into the Regional Human Resources Director and manages SEA markets across 8 countries. In this role you will:
- Analyze and develop talent and L&D frameworks and programs based on the company’s regional needs to enhance the internal capabilities of the workforce
- Develop and manage the L&D Calendar and curriculum and its centralised programs by sourcing demand from development plans and supplying accordingly
- Design and deliver a variety of learning materials/assets for instructor-led courses, online programs, workshops and other programs as needed that enhances employee satisfaction and productivity
- Collaborate closely with internal key stakeholders to shape and define leadership development, talent management and performance rating programmes across the regions
- Monitor, analyze and assess the effectiveness and engagement levels of L&D initiatives including their impact and execution to the business
- Manage the learning and development system and training records folders via WorkDay to ensure all learning and development activities are recorded and maintained accordingly to company’s reporting requirements
skills and experience required
- Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or equivalent
- 8 years of experience in learning and development, ideally with 2 years’ experience in talent management
- Experience working within the FMCG / Consumer industry and in an MNC environment will be advantageous
- Resourceful and creative, with strong knowledge of local industry trends and practices and ability to utilize innovative and effective learning methods and practices
- Independent, motivated and collaborative with ability to prioritize work and manage time effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with cross-functional stakeholders across SEA
