about the job
In this newly created role, you will be responsible to extend superb administrative and secretarial support to the Managing Director (MD) and to take care of the office in Singapore. You will need to manage the calendar of the MD, prepare for and schedule meetings (including off-site and on-site), process expense claims, and coordinate travel arrangements for the MD and the senior management team. The ordering of pantry/office supplies, coordinating with the off-site HR and IT teams, and assisting in events management, will fall under your care. You will function as the main point of contact for external vendors, contractors and the building management for facilities and equipment maintenance/repair works, and will support any matters related to the office, including office rental lease renewals. Other administrative tasks, such as receiving calls, taking messages and managing contacts and mailing lists, will also be assigned to you as and when required.
about the manager/team
You will report directly to the Managing Director and will work closely with the Marketing Manager, who is the current person in charge of managing the office operations.
skills and experience required
You should be tertiary educated and come with at least 3 years of experience in an office administrative and/or secretarial role, preferably supporting a country or region head. Being able to work independently and having strong communication and interpersonal skills will contribute to your success in this role. You will need to be self-motivated, resourceful and have great problem solving skills to excel in this position.
In return, you will receive a basic salary of up to $60k per annum, along with a discretionary bonus. You will also have the opportunity to work in a forward-looking environment, where you can gain regional and global exposure to advance further in your career.
