about the job

In this role, most of your daily working time will be taken up with secretarial support duties to the CEO. This include but is not limited to- acting as a first point of contact to deal with correspondences, emails and phone calls on behalf of the CEO, managing the CEO’s calendar and organizing meetings and appointments, booking and arranging business travels, transport and accommodation, reminding the CEO of important tasks and deadlines as well as typing, compiling and preparing reports and presentations. In addition, you will assist in generic office administrative tasks such as ordering of pantry and office supplies, organising company events, managing of company driver’s schedule, plus other administration duties as assigned for example, scanning, filing, achieving, arranging courier of documents. You will also have exposure to assist in simple HR and accounting duties.

about the manager / team

This role sits within the General Affairs department, hence though the main job scope is secretarial support to the CEO, you will also be hands on in other matters within office admin, HR and accounting though only doing simple tasks to start with.

skills & experience required

The ideal incumbent should be tertiary educated with at least 1 year of relevant secretarial and office admin work experience, preferably in a bank or financial institution as well. You should possess very good verbal and written English communications skills and be able to handle confidential documents and work with discretion and tact. This job is well suited for somebody who is a good multi-tasker and who is meticulous, independent and a good team player. You must also possess excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage time and meet required deadlines.
