Headquartered in Singapore, this IT consultancy firm has a strong regional presence and serves major players in various industries including telecommunications, media, and entertainment. They are now actively expanding their business in the region and are looking for a new senior accountant to join its family.

about the job
As the senior accountant, you will work closely with the CEO and financial controller in supporting the Singapore operations. You will be responsible for cash flow management, evaluating effectiveness of spending, and ensuring productive, efficient cost controls. You will take charge of the analysis of financial data and the consolidation and preparation of financial reports, ensure the timeliness and accuracy of journal entries posted, participate in forecasting and budgeting activities, and liaise with various internal and external stakeholders in merger and acquisition activities. You will also be responsible for payroll accounting.

skills and experience required
You should ideally possess the following:

  • Degree or diploma in accountancy; other related accounting certifications (eg. CPA, CA, ACCA, etc) will be considered favourably;
  • At least 4 years of experience in a similar role; prior experience in a Big 4 audit firm will be a plus; and
  • Outgoing personality with strong interpersonal and communication skills in order to manage both internal and external stakeholders.
