Our client is a well established MNC and they are currently looking for a Group Senior Accountant to join them.
About the job
Reporting to the Financial Controller you will be responsible for managing the full sets of accounting for the group of companies across APAC which includes month end closing, consolidation, audits and internal controls. The business also plans to migrate their software to Oracle and this person will be instrumental in ensuring that system transition goes smoothly. You will also be working closely with the team on various projects to improve work processes and make things more efficient for the wider business. The ideal candidate is one who is technically strong in accounting, independent and hands-on.
Skills and experience required
A recognised degree in accounting or ACCA or relevant with at least 6 years of relevant experience ideally having worked for MNCs. Strong experience in using excel is a must have with system project and process improvement experience being highly advantageous.
