You will be responsible for wide range of duties relating to financial, tax, and insurance accounting, as well as internal controls, compliances, budgeting, and cash flow management. You will be responsible for timely and accurate financial and statutory reporting, including general accounting, accounts payable, bank reconciliations, and tax filings. You will review internal processes and controls, and recommend changes where necessary. Additionally, you will oversee the settlement process with underwriters and authorize all payments, review journal entries, and provide guidelines to the Credit Control team. You will also assist the Head of Finance in the annual budget exercise and monitor cash inflow and outflow.

Skills and experience required
Degree in Accounting & Finance, or any professional qualifications (CA/ACCA/CPA), with at least 8 years of financial accounting experience ideally in the insurance/reinsurance/insurance brokering industry. In order to succeed, you should be hands-on, possess excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work well in a team environment. Big 4 auditors should apply.
