In this role, you will be responsible to work with the product team to understand the requirement, define test strategy, design comprehensive test plans and test case.

• Execute test plan to ensure projects under your charge are tested thoroughly
• Create automation test script for the test cases and manually test application for which automation is not available yet
• Report and track defects as well as sign off on releases
• Contribute to continuous improvement and proactively support knowledge sharing across the product delivery team
• Involved in overseeing quality-assurance testing activities and production support activities
• Plan, monitor QA activities and take corrective actions if required, create test plans and guide the QA team towards the upcoming deliveries
• Initiate test activities such as specification, preparation, implementation and execution of tests, monitor test result and check exit criteria
• Prepare test reports and communicate with project managers and other stakeholders
• Conduct defect triage and prepare status reports
• Participate in requirements gathering and gap analysis sessions
• Review test cases of QA team members and provide feedback

skills and experience required

• At least an degree in IT or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of experience in QA engineer/tester with 3 years of experience in testing web application and API.
• Experience in automation testing tool such as Selenium Framework, Appium and Jmeter
• Experience in perform testing on web applications and backend API to ensure that prodct meet requirements.
• Knowledge on software QA, including best practices, processes and all kind of testing.
• Knowledge of web application technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript and JSON
• Good JAVA skills
• Experience in Agile methodologies
• Knowledge on BDD concept
• Familiar with Gherkin Language
