about the job

The Business Analyst will act as the liaison between client, parent company and development teams to ensure that requirements are correctly and clearly documented. The applicant must possess the techniques to efficiently extract and analyze information needed whilst analyzing sometimes complex solutions.

Business Analysts are responsible for identifying required solutions, assessing the impact and ensuring that any changes maintain the quality and consistency of the product.

The Business Analyst will work with users to validate their requirements via techniques such as reviews, walkthroughs and direct analysis. In addition, will also aid in the testing life cycle by ensuring that the developed solution is fit for purpose and consistent with the documented requirements in a very much Agile process. Furthermore, as part of the analysis process, adopting a use case approach as well as as a consultant between users and other participants during a clients’ test cycle.

Responsibilities

  • Communicating with clients for requirements gathering and business consultancy
  • Requirements analysis and documentation
  • Liaising with the development teams to effectively communicate the requirements
  • First line of testing validation for system changes to ensure the solution meets the intended requirement
  • Assisting the Operational teams and Client users through the entire project life cycle
  • Assisting the Support team to analyze software issues
  • Supporting new opportunities with existing and new Clients as well as regulatory or market changes
  • Working with the Product Team to support the product strategy, product plan and direction
  • Reporting to Post Trade Product Manager

skills and experience required

  • Significant experience in Capital Market Domain supporting the post trade broking process
  • Knowledge of cash equities, bonds and derivatives processing and clearing
  • Experience in SWIFT and FIX protocol
  • Experience in capturing and documenting requirements from clients
  • Exposure to processes and techniques for requirements analysis
  • Experience of supporting a product solution through various stages
  • Experience of Oracle and/or relational databases
  • Experience in Agile methodology
