- Produce a uniformly executed commissioning process for all projects
- Implement Commissioning Guidelines / Standards
- Lead the commissioning process on multiple projects
- Provide strategic and innovative thinking
- Direct and manage the commissioning process on projects inclusive of the startup plan, design phase, commissioning schedule, factory testing, construction phase, acceptance phase, and functional performance testing phase, and Integrated Systems Testing phase and Operational turnover phase
- Performs design and projects reviews / inspections to ensure specifications and expectations are met and work is completed in a quality and timely manner (Verify no design issues are present)
- Appoint and handle commissioning agents, contractors, and suppliers
- Resolve site concerns and coordination issues
- Deliver a comprehensive Commissioning Report for each project
- Lead all activities required in the project closeout and turn over to operations inclusive of operations and maintenance manuals and training
skills & experience required
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Computer or Mechanical Engineer or related discipline
- 10 years of experience in Data Centres design / design management / commissioning management
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to foster/manage relationships across multiple departments
- Willing to travel based on projects requirement
- Knowledge of Data Centres and mission critical design concepts
- Knowledge of safety standards requirements
- Have a strong Technical and Working knowledge of Mechanical & Electrical plants and services supporting mission critical Data Centres environments
- Including MV & LV Distribution Switchgear, Automatic Transfer Schemes, Standby Generators, UPS, Chillers, CRACs/CRAHs, ancillary mechanical cooling systems plant, and system Automation & Monitoring
