about the job

Our client is currently looking for a Finance Manager (1 year contract - renewable) to join their high performing team for the migration project.

Your main responsibility will include:

  • Monthly and other recurring reporting, including month-end spend reporting and analysis, variance analysis, forecasting.
  • Annual budgeting and analysis for cost centers spend and determine facilities allocation. Perform actual cost calculation of systems / products with details analysis of variance to standard or baseline and analysis of variance between the pre and post calculations. Responsible for periodic and ad hoc standard cost setting processes including reviewing of components pricing and periodic cost rate review.
  • Perform details purchase price variances analysis.

skills and experience required

To be successful in this role, you should be a good team player with great interpersonal and leadership skills, and possess the following skills and experience:-

  • Minimum 6 years’ of manufacturing operations, standard cost process and variances,
  • Strong SAP knowledge. Experience with system implementation.
  • Thorough understanding of product costing and budgeting/forecasting
  • Willing to work in the North
