You will oversee the development and execution of the annual audit plan, manage resources, and ensure the delivery of comprehensive audit assignments in line with group internal audit standards. This role involves guiding and reviewing audit work, providing insights on risk management and controls, and maintaining effective communication with senior management. Additionally, the role requires promoting efficiency through expert knowledge, fostering a positive team environment, encouraging the use of data analytics, and staying updated on emerging risks. You will also build strong relationships with stakeholders, support continuous improvement initiatives, and assist the Group Chief Internal Auditor in shaping and implementing the audit strategy.

Skills and experience required
The ideal candidate will possess at least 20 years of experience in Internal Audit/External Audit/Second LoD roles within the insurance or financial services industry, with extensive management experience. In order to succeed, you should demonstrate strong technical expertise, effective communication skills, and the ability to influence and challenge senior management. You should excel in teamwork, leadership, and performance management, with a proven track record of delivering impactful initiatives and maintaining high attention to detail and logical thinking.
