Currently, they are looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join their building business. In this role, you will play an integral part in a team of highly skilled specialists that ‘bring ideas to life’ for our clients across all types of projects. Below are your key responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from initial scoping through detailed design and commissioning and handover across a wide variety of projects, including preparation of technical specifications, reports, and estimates.
• Involved in tender preparation and negotiations with clients to achieve commercially profitable business objectives.
• Engage directly with clients and colleagues to deliver successful outcomes to contribute to work winning and market development.
• Act as a technical expert to mentor and develop other electrical engineers within the team, and provide electrical design expertise in overseeing all technical aspects of projects
• Provide client consultation by drawing on professional expertise and deep knowledge of company’s consultancy services.

Requirements

• Bachelors' degree in Electrical Engineering, with 8 -10 years related professional experience in buildings services, of which 2 to 3 years are in data centre design or related.
• A strong background in building electrical design within a consulting environment will be advantageous.
• A strong interest in working on innovative, energy efficient and sustainable projects.
• Project leadership and management experience, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• You should be pro-active with the ability to work independently or part of a team and possess good communication skills and business acumen.
• Excellent and proven business development and account management skills.
