    Senior Engineer (Planning) (Building projects with A1 main contractor)

    about the company

    Our client is a leading A1 main contractor with over 50 years of history in Singapore. Their projects are mainly condominiums, HDB, industrial, data centre and school institutions. Currently they are looking for a Senior Engineer (Planning) to be based in HQ around central area in Singapore. This role is under Commercial Department’s planning team. It is a 5-day work/week working days.

    about the job

    • Tender stage technical supports involving technical and planning aspects.
    • Review of tender documents/drawings, analyse site constraints and carrying out planning tasks such as construction methodology/schedule, site utilization & resources planning, etc.
    • Assist in costing for preliminaries.
    • If required, exploring of alternative proposals/VE for ease of construction and/or time saving.
    • If required, liaison with specialist sub-contractors and C&S design consultants, to collect planning parameters.
    • Preparation of technical presentation slides and tender submission technical items.

    skills & experience required

    • Degree in Civil or a related discipline recognized by the PE Board
    • Minimum of 6-8 years’ relevant construction experience in local projects and with experience in tendering involvement in planning/technical aspects.
    • Experience in design consultancy firm will be added advantage for consideration.
    • Familiar with Autocad and MS Projects. Knowledge of BIM/VDC/IDD will be added advantage for consideration.
    • Independent, diligent and highly motivated with excellent team spirit.
