They are currently looking for a Senior Executive for the Group Portfolio team to help with the needs of the business.
about the role
The role involves supporting the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of a support group through the Group Portfolio Management Team (GPM) in various strategic financial activities. This includes tasks like maintaining and updating a portfolio model to track performance, providing regular performance updates to management and the board, analyzing funding and capital structure options, incorporating budget and forecast data into the portfolio model, collaborating with other departments on growth plans, reviewing new investment proposals, and assisting in financial modeling for portfolio-related work. The objective is to ensure effective financial management, strategic planning, and informed decision-making within the group.
skills and experience required
You should possess a finance, econs, mathematics or accounting degree and Masters or any CA qualification will be advantageous. You should have at least 3 years of relevant experience. Prior experience in the Big 4, especially in the valuation team will definitely be preferred. Alternatively if you are from a banking background or a commercial background with a role that was heavily involved in financial modeling and analysis will be a good fit for this role as well.
