about the company
my client has over 50 years of experience globally and has over 200 headcounts in Singapore. Due to recent expansion plans, they are looking at someone with good Finance Operations experience.

about the job

  • Assist in both Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
  • Timely and accuracy of Month-end Closing of financial accounts for General Insurance
  • Responsible for daily insurance accounting and related regulatory reporting including month end
  • journals
  • Timely reconciliation of bank accounts including intercompany and interfunds accounts
  • Follow up of outstanding reconciliation items and liaison with respective Business Units and IT for
    timely resolution and clearance of issues and reconciling items.

skills and experience required

  • Minimally 3 years of Finance Operations within the General Insurance industry
  • Able to work well in a fast paced environment
  • Good understanding of Accounts Payable and Receivables
