Our Client is a fast growing business with global footprints and they operate in a dynamic pace. As the business is growing, they are looking for like-minded to join their business as a Finance manager a layer below the head of finance to lead a team and drive the business and improvement projects.

about the job

Reporting to the head of finance, you will oversee all aspects of operational accounting and management reporting for all entities, preparing financial reports and analytics to support financial review. You will ensure the timely completion of statutory audits for all entities, a regular review of account reconciliations, follow up and timely closure of accounts. You will provide reports and interpret the financials and making them meaningful to recommend to management for action. You will review business processes to improve internal controls, supporting system implementation project and being a strong business partner to develop strategic plans. You will also ensure regulatory and tax compliance, liaising with internal teams globally to ensure timely corporate tax, GST and VAT filing, working closely with intercompany teams to ensure tax structure is appropriate.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or CA qualification preferred
• Prior experience in external audit firm is highly desirable
• Ideally a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience within the oil trading sector
• Strong knowledge of IFRS
• Some knowledge in indirect tax, corporate tax and transfer pricing would be highly desirable
• Good business partnering skills working with various people across different organisations both internal and external
• Ability to drive changes to improve processes
