Your responsibilities include the end-to-end process of analysing to development and maintenance of the organization’s products and systems. You will be required to lead requirements meetings, identify and resolve complex problems as well as reviewing all firmware test results. Enhancements, modifications of existing products will be part of your responsibilities as well. There are other scope of work involved for a Senior Firmware Engineer.
skills and experience required
You will need to have min bachelor’s degree in computer engineering/Telecommunications/Electronic/Computer Science or related field. Other requirements are as follow:
- Min 6 years of experience in platform product embedded firmware development.
- Experience in microcontrollers such as I2C/SPI/USB, etc is a must.
- Experience in development programming languages such as C/C++ is a must.
- Experience in a embedded microcontroller architecture/ARM/Linux/etc, is a must.
- Knowledge/Experience in RTOS/POSIX would be highly advantageous.
