Our client is a funded Saas security startup that has grown massively over the past few years. They are looking for a driven and passionate Senior Front End Developer to join their growing team. about the job
You will:

  • Interact with the Back End team to agree and sync on APIs;
  • Deliver high quality user facing UI web pages
  • Promote adoption and rollout of Agile and modern software engineering practices and identify/communicate front-end best practices, code reviews
  • Deliver user-facing UI features for the web and work closely with designers and backend team
  • Build reusable code and UI components in design system, build user interfaces for advanced analytics
  • Translate UI/UX design wireframes to actual code that will produce visual elements of the application
  • Mentor, guide and review junior frontend developers’ codes

skills and experience required

  • More than 3 year of front end development experience with solid hands-on developing with modern Javascript (ES6) frameworks like ReactJS, Redux, Typescript, GraphQL
  • Experienced with Unit Testing frameworks (TDD)
  • Exposure to charting API such as d3.js would be highly advantageous
  • Problem solving and analytical skills with a keen eye for design and aesthetics (UX)
  • Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS, TypeScript, Babel, etc
  • Well experienced in building Single Page Applications (SPAs) and understands or was part of the whole lifecycle of releasing a website (design/coding/deploying)
  • Able to work and thrive in a start-up Agile environment
  • Adopt high standards in writing clean codes and web practices with strong documentation habits
  • Interest in security / big data ingestion and analysis will be a big plus
  • Good understanding of cross-browser compatibility and client-side performance
