Senior HR Manager, SG, China & SEA

Up to $200K per annum on base + VB

about the Company

Our Client is a well established MNC with strong presence globally with a diverse portfolio of various businesses. Their global network comprises of local offices and affiliates in over 90 countries. Due to business expansion, they are looking for dynamic individual to join their commodity trading arm of their business.

about the job

You will support the Global Head of HR to look over SG, China and all the regional offices in SEA to deliver the full suite of generalist HR services to the organization to drive business performance across the Asia region. Your main scope of responsibilities are but not limited to:

  • Overlooking the full spectrum of HR generalist function and provide process improvement advises to strengthened and improve workflow efficiencies
  • Build strong relations to stakeholders and provide advisory advice pertaining to talent management, performance management, succession planning and talent development; Aligning of HR Policies/processes
  • Maintaining employee relations by providing independent, proactive and professional advisory services to business stakeholders; disciplinary and performance issues across the business
  • Staffing and selection; full cycle of end to end recruitment
  • Participate in rewards and recognition; reviewing on compensation recommendations
  • Partake in total rewards strategy to craft appropriate compensation structure for the assigned business line so as to be internally equitable and externally competitive

In additional to the above, you will also maintain a positive, productive and cohesive work environment within the Singapore HR team, accountable for the full employee lifecycle and other aspects of HR support.

about the manager/team

Reporting to the Head of HR, you will work alongside with 3 other team members to achieve business objectives and to continue growing together with the organization.

skills and experience required

You will be degree/diploma qualified with preferable qualifications in related field of studies and demonstrate at least 15 years of experience in similar capacity, preferably with 3 years of leadership experience. The ideal candidate will be someone with expertise within the commodity trading verticals. Comfortable with working in a structured and matrix organization is a definite advantage that would put you in a league above the rest. You will be someone who is able to manage stakeholders of all level with the finesse in handling employees within the trading ground. Due to liaison with China, mandarian speaking skills will be mandatory for the position.
