about the job

You will undertake the role of a Senior HR Manager, overlooking the full function of a HR generalist function and partnering closely with the management team to achieve business objectives. You will perform implementation and running of programmes and systems in performance management/improvement, organisation development, change management, ensuring statutory compliance, talent development including needs assessment and training. You will also deliver a full suite of HR services in a fast-paced environment. Your role also encompasses strategizing of HR operational excellence to meet desire outcome to ensure maximum efficiency in running of the day to day HR Ops;

  • Partnering with external consultants on change and OD projects while aligning strategic directions with all your internal stakeholders
  • Lead HR projects in organization wide transformation to ensure project deliverables, participating in salary surveys, job grading and performance evaluation across the SG business
  • Process improvements and streamlining of work flow to achieve optimal operational effectiveness and efficiency
  • Providing advisory on local legislation and act as the first point of contact for matters pertaining to employee relations
  • Catalyses organisational cultural transformation in alignment with corporate directives
  • Work in close collaboration with HQ in harmonizing and rolling out of HR initiatives

about the manager/team

Leading a team of 3 HR executives, you will report directly to the SEA Head of HR and partner with your key stakeholders across 3 different legal entities in driving key business transformation and providing HR advisory to them.

skills and experience required

You will be Degree qualified in related field of studies and demonstrate at least 10 years of experience preferably in similar capacity preferably with leadership experience in managing a small team. You will be a strong mediator when handling human relations and conflicts in an unwavering professional approach. Relevant experiences within the retail and/or consumer related market is a definite advantage that would put you in a league above the rest. You should also possess the ability to feel undaunted in the face of volatility and persevere to succeed despite facing with complexity and ambiguity in the business. You will be someone who is able to multi-task and work well across different business functions with excellent stakeholder management skills. Apart from the mentioned, you will also be quick to think on your feet to and manage stakeholders of different levels.
